Vertical Sky® Electricity from wind power generated locally and in an environmentally friendly way
Topic/Thema
After more than 12 years of research and development, Agile Wind Power offers a fundamentally new technology for the commercial generation of electricity from wind power. The Vertical Sky® is designed for energy-intensive applications and are therefore ideally suited for decentralized power generation for self-consumption by commercial and industrial users. Key advantages of these turbines enable the use of new sites and meet previously unserved customer demand. The current model of the wind turbine has a capacity of 750 kilowatts, with larger models in the planning stage.

Patrick Richter, CEO, AGILE WIND POWER AG
Patrick Richter was qualified as electronics engineer and holds a federal diploma in business information technology. He started as a business analyst, IT consultant and project manager. In 2001 he co-founded and managed an information technology group and acted successfully as their CEO for more than eight years. In 2010, he founded Agile Wind Power and has led the company as CEO ever since. Patrick Richter still serves as Colonel in the Air Operations Center of the Swiss Air Force.

The Wind Energy Technology Institute is organizing a series of lecture in the summer semester 2022. We welcome anyone interested in the wind industry to join us. We have invited lecturers from the various branches of the wind industry to speak about exciting topics. There will also be the opportunity for a short discussion after each of the talks.

Das Wind Energy Technology Institute (WETI) der Hochschule Flensburg veranstaltet im Sommersemester 2022 wieder eine Ringvorlesung und lädt alle Interessenten dazu ein! Es werden Referent*innen aus Industrie und Wirtschaft über spannende Themen aus der Windbranche referieren. Im Anschluss der Vorträge besteht die Möglichkeit im Rahmen einer Diskussionsrunde Fragen zu stellen und das Thema zu vertiefen.
