DLR Research Park Wind Energy

Topic/Thema

The DLR is erecting together with its partners the "Research Park Wind Energy". This research infrasturcture in the north of Germany contains two multi-MW turbines and one modifiable tubine as a test bench.

The turbines are completed by five met masts. All the turbines and the met masts are instrumented with measurement equipement. The "Research Park Wind Energy" will be available for different research topics on wind turbines for industry and research institutes.

Lukas Firmhofer, German Aerospace Center

Lukas Firmhofer studied till 2016 mechanical engineering in Kempten. Where he afterwards was Lecturer for Programming. In 2018 he made his master’s degree in Flensburg. Since 2019 he is Project Manager for project experimental turbine at German Aerospace Center - Wind Energy Experiments.

The Wind Energy Technology Institute is organizing a series of lecture in the summer semster 2021. We welcome anyone interested in the wind industry to join us. We have invited lecturers from the various branches of the wind industry to speak about exciting topics. There will also be the opportunity for a short discussion after each of the talks.

Das Wind Energy Technology Institute (WETI) der Hochschule Flensburg veranstaltet im Sommersemester 2021 wieder eine Ringvorlesung und lädt alle Interessenten dazu ein! Es werden Referent*innen aus Industrie und Wirtschaft über spannende Themen aus der Windbranche referieren. Im Anschluss der Vorträge besteht die Möglichkeit im Rahmen einer Diskussionsrunde Fragen zu stellen und das Thema zu vertiefen.
