Blauer Hintergrund mit weißem Logo: highQ

As part of our Usability Hackathon from 8.-11.2024, you can register for one of seven challenges.

Founded in Freiburg in 1996, the software company supports local authorities, transport companies, businesses and financial institutions with innovative IT solutions for planning, implementing, optimizing and monitoring their tasks. In the field of mobility, highQ aims to help make traffic more fluid and environmentally friendly. The focus here is on the concept of the mobility platform, which digitally connects various mobility service providers. The aim is to use innovative digital solutions to advance the transport revolution and create sustainable mobility for the benefit of society - we call this social mobility. highQ currently employs around 70 people at its six locations in Freiburg, Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Stuttgart and now also in Weimar.

See https://www.highq.de/ for more information on the project.

Challenge

Scenario: An organization (e.g. university) wants to provide a mobility solution for different groups (departments and their students). The individual departments can provide individual incentives for the students. This should motivate the students to choose sustainable routes to the university and, in particular, carpooling (also between departments) should be supported, as the parking situation in the university area is very tight.

Background information

The mytraQ mobility app is a white-label solution with an integrated bonus system for sustainable transport behavior. It offers the option of searching for different connections using different modes of transport (walking, car, bike, public transport). Different routes from A to B are displayed - the more sustainable a route is, the more bonus points you can earn and then exchange for rewards. In the future, carpooling opportunities will also be displayed here. Users should be able to offer rides as drivers or book rides as passengers.
