The lecture/Der Vortrag
Hardware-in-the-loop tests are an increasing used option in the development process at Nordex, mainly for software validation and component tests.
In addition to the physical model of the turbine, such tests require to model the distributed control system of the wind turbine.
The lecture will give an overview of the used model as well as the test facilities for software and hardware tests.

The Wind Energy Technology Institute (WETI) is organizing a series of lectures in the summer semester 2026. We welcome anyone interested in the wind industry to join us. We have invited lecturers from the various branches of the wind industry to speak about exciting topics. There will be the opportunity for a short discussion after each of the talks. It is also an opportunity to get to know employers and talk to them.

Das Wind Energy Technology Institute (WETI) der Hochschule Flensburg veranstaltet im Sommersemester 2026 wieder eine Ringvorlesung und lädt alle Interessenten dazu ein! Es werden Referent*innen aus Industrie, Wirtschaft und Lehre über spannende Themen aus der Windbranche referieren. Im Anschluss der Vorträge besteht die Möglichkeit, im Rahmen einer Diskussionsrunde Fragen zu stellen und das Thema zu vertiefen. Außerdem bietet sich die Gelegenheit, Arbeitgeber kennenzulernen und mit ihnen ins Gespräch zu kommen.
