We are excited to invite you to participate in our upcoming Intercultural and Diversity Day, organized in collaboration with the Europa-Universität Flensburg and the City of Flensburg. This event offers a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the cultural and social diversity of our community and showcase your traditions, creativity, and identities!
How can you participate?
You are welcome to:
- Host an exhibition featuring artifacts, traditional clothing, or crafts from your culture.
- Share photos that highlight significant cultural, social, or personal moments.
- Offer traditional food from your country or region for others to try.
- Perform music, dance, or arts that reflect your cultural and social backgrounds.
- Display artwork or craftwork that represents your identity and heritage.
This event not only celebrates cultural differences but also embraces social, gender, educational, racial, and age diversity. It’s a unique opportunity to share your individual story while learning about others in an open and respectful environment.
Event Details:
- Date: 15.10.2024
- Time: 10:00 a.m. (starting with the Kaleidoscope Parade at the main building of Flensburg University of Applied Sciences, ending at the Helsinki building of EUF)
- Location: Foyer and tent at the Helsinki building, Europa-Universität Flensburg
Until 2:30 p.m., there will be a “Window to the World” in the tent, where you can explore a vibrant mosaic of cultures and identities through exciting student-led exhibitions. At 12:30 p.m., the DAAD award ceremony will also take place. Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate the diversity of cultures, social realities, and personal stories!
