GP JOULE - Challenges in Wind and Solar Project Development & the Path to a Sustainable Future

Topic/Thema

The speakers will introduce one of the leading system suppliers for renewable energies. The company GP JOULE offers development, planning, commissioning and maintenance of wind and solar power plants and heat distribution grids as well as solutions for hydrogen and electric mobility. During the session, the speakers will discuss the challenges in wind and solar project development and the path of the energy transition in Germany.

Petra Scherweit, Business Service Lead Recruiting and People Development at GP JOULE GmbH.

As a business management graduate, Ms. Scherweit worked in the HR department of Siemens Wind Power, WKN, Senvion and Stadtwerke Flensburg before starting as head of recruiting and personell development at GP JOULE in 2021.

Ulf Ehlers, Manager for Project Cooperation at GP JOULE GmbH.

After graduating as an industrial engineer in 2004, Mr. Ehlers worked as a project developer in the global wind industry for 10 years before starting as a project manager at GP JOULE. In 2020, he founded the start-up Prodapi and is currently managing the project cooperation at GP JOULE.

The Wind Energy Technology Institute is organizing a series of lecture in the summer semester 2022. We welcome anyone interested in the wind industry to join us. We have invited lecturers from the various branches of the wind industry to speak about exciting topics. There will also be the opportunity for a short discussion after each of the talks.

Wind Energy Technology Institute (WETI) der Hochschule Flensburg veranstaltet im Sommersemester 2022 wieder eine Ringvorlesung und lädt alle Interessenten dazu ein! Es werden Referent*innen aus Industrie und Wirtschaft über spannende Themen aus der Windbranche referieren. Im Anschluss der Vorträge besteht die Möglichkeit im Rahmen einer Diskussionsrunde Fragen zu stellen und das Thema zu vertiefen.
