Ten Years Windtestfeld-Nord – A Success Story

During the session, the speakers will introduce the Schleswig-Holstein Renewable Energy Network Agency (EE.SH) and the wind turbine generator (WTG) prototype test site Windtestfeld-Nord GmbH. With 6 test sites the Windtestfeld-Nord facilitates the trial and certification of new technologies in the wind industry.

Martina Christiansen studied mechanical and systems engineering at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences. Since 2020 she is part of the renewables cluster team at EE.SH with a focus on “Start-Ups and Innovation“. Since 2022 Ms. Christiansen is also managing director of Windtestfeld-Nord.
Holger Arntzen, Managing Director at Windtestfeld-Nord GmbH.
After studies of energy and environmental economic management, Holger Arntzen joined the project management of the renewables cluster Schleswig-Holstein with the main topics „onshore wind, regional added value and acceptance“. Since 2010, he has worked on the development of Windtestfeld-Nord near Husum. 2013 he became managing director of six test-sites for WTG prototypes.

The Wind Energy Technology Institute is organizing a series of lecture in the summer semester 2022. We welcome anyone interested in the wind industry to join us. We have invited lecturers from the various branches of the wind industry to speak about exciting topics. There will also be the opportunity for a short discussion after each of the talks.

Das Wind Energy Technology Institute (WETI) der Hochschule Flensburg veranstaltet im Sommersemester 2022 wieder eine Ringvorlesung und lädt alle Interessenten dazu ein! Es werden Referent*innen aus Industrie und Wirtschaft über spannende Themen aus der Windbranche referieren. Im Anschluss der Vorträge besteht die Möglichkeit im Rahmen einer Diskussionsrunde Fragen zu stellen und das Thema zu vertiefen.
