This presentation gives a brief introduction to certification body DNV and the general approach of certification bodies to manage risks. It provides a detailed inside to standards and service documents of DNV specifically for floating offshore wind and finally introduces the document package

Andreas Manjock is in the wind business since 1996 starting originally in rotor blade development. Since 18 years he is at DNV GL Renewables Certification and works currently as principal engineer and project manager for offshore project certifications. His main technical expertise is the integrated load analysis and code validation. In this field he contributed on the guideline and standard development of DNV GL. Since 2012 he is also managing research projects for DNV GL with special focus on floating wind. As an associated professor he occasionally supports the wind energy master at Flensburg University for applied science.

The Wind Energy Technology Institute is organizing a series of lecture in the summer semester 2021. We welcome anyone interested in the wind industry to join us. We have invited lecturers from the various branches of the wind industry to speak about exciting topics. There will also be the opportunity for a short discussion after each of the talks.

Das Wind Energy Technology Institute (WETI) der Hochschule Flensburg veranstaltet im Sommersemester 2021 wieder eine Ringvorlesung und lädt alle Interessenten dazu ein! Es werden Referent*innen aus Industrie und Wirtschaft über spannende Themen aus der Windbranche referieren. Im Anschluss der Vorträge besteht die Möglichkeit im Rahmen einer Diskussionsrunde Fragen zu stellen und das Thema zu vertiefen.
