Estimation techniques allows to improve performance and control of the wind turbines. As a Product Owner for Wind Turbine Controls, the speaker has conducted extensive research on nonlinear observers for wind turbine dynamic state and parameter estimation. The lecture will focus on nonlinear state estimation techniques, advanced control strategies for wind turbines, high-fidelity nonlinear models and real-time application of estimation algorithms.
