
Our Student Administration is the right place to turn to with any questions regarding your status as a student at FUAS. They are there for you from when you enrol to re-registrations and finally your de-registration as a student.
Issues and questions we'll help you with
Our team at Student Administration will support you in all matters relating to your student status during your studies. This includes:
- your enrolment as a student
- your re-registration for each semester that you continue to study at FUAS
- the request for de-registration as a student when you have completed your studies or don’t want to continue them
- when you want to report changes in your personal situation, e.g. change of name, change of health insurance
- when you want to take a leave of absence from your studies, e.g. for health reasons

- as a cross-registered student [Zweithörer] if you are enrolled as a student at a university FIUAS has a cooperation agreement with so you can complete selected modules and exams here
- if you want to start in a higher semester than the first of a degree programme; this is possible if you have completed certain examinations already
- as a non-enrolled guest student if you want to learn something new without completing assessment
- Medical insurance matters
- The Schleswig-Holstein-wide semester ticket
- proof of student status in a form that we do not provide automatically (e.g. for the German Bundeswehr’s Vocational Training Service or for visa extensions)
We are also the right place to come to, if you obtained your school-leaving certificate outside Germany and want to enrol as a full-time student at FUAS.
Matters you can easily take care of yourself
If your address changes, you can easily update the information yourself via the HISinOne platform. Simply go to “Student Services” and click on “contact information” to change your address.
You can also print out a proof of student status and your student ID via the HISinOne platform.

Re-registration
Before one semester ends and the next one starts, one thing is crucial for everyone who wants to continue their studies with us in this next semester: re-registering as a student. For as long as you want to study with us, don’t forget to re-register before each new semester.
