You completed your studies? Or you want to enrol in another degree programme or study at another university. If any of these apply, you will have to file a request with Student Services.
Request for de-registration
Students who want to enrol in another degree programme or leave Flensburg University of Applied Sciences have to file a request. You have to do this, whether you completed your studies or not.
File the request online
Please fill in the request, sign it and hand it in to the team at Student Administration via e-mail. We will contact the different units and institutes for the necessary clearance signatures. We usually take two weeks to process a request for de-registration.
We will send you a confirmation of your de-registration via post.
If you re-registered as a student already, you can ask to be paid the semester fee back using this application for a refund of fees (form currently available in German only).
If you successfully completed your studies you can choose the day on which you want your student status to end, please choose a date between that of your last assessment and the last day of the semester.
Please note: The date of your de-registration, i.e. the date on which you lose your status as a student, may have consequences regarding your social security amongst other things (e.g. BAföG funding, medical insurance cover for students, unemployment benefits, reduced or waived fees for students).
The information will also be passed on to your statutory health insurance provider and nah.sh as the provider of the semester ticket.

Change of degree programmes within FUAS
In order to not lose your student status between semesters, choose the last day of the semester as the day of your de-registration (28 Feb or 31 Aug). The registration for the new degree programme and the de-registration from the old one will be carried out at the same time.
Please use your existing student ID number and account to apply for a place in the degree programme you want to change to.
