Pioneers wanted!
Do you want to design for a better world and leave a mark on your local community?
We have collected a range of usability challenges from local organisations and are looking to better our community by organising a hackathon from 13 to 15 November 2025.
Choose your preferred challenge and sign up for the usability hackathon 2025.
The usability hackathon 2025 kicks off on World Usability Day, Thursday 13.11.2025. From then, you have 48 hours to work on solving the challenge of your choice. On Saturday, 15 November 2025, you will have the chance to present your solution ideas back to the organisation or company. Lastly, you will also be rewarded with a certificate of participation.
Challenges
The buttons below lead you to information on the challenges from which you should select your favourites. You will be provided with more information directly from the companies at the hackathon kick-off.
Programme
The Usability Hackathon 2025 will take place in the coworking spaces at lisezwei. These spaces will be yours exclusively for the 48 hour duration of the hackathon. So, you can stay the entire time – and work work work or take a nap in the sleeping bag you brought along for yourself.
Of course, you can also go home in between. Just make sure you don't miss the checkpoints that are part of the programme.
Workshop material, food and drinks will be provided for all participants of the hackathon.
Also, there will be mentors to support you. So, you don't have to have specific knowledge to participate.
Registration
As places are limited, please register bindingly.
When you register, you need to select your preferred challenge and you need to accept our code of conduct. Also, let us know if there are specific people who you would like to team up with and whether you have any dietary restriction, since the whole weekend will be catered.
