Challenge

Your challenge is to evaluate the existing online service "Hygienebelehrungen gemäß § 43 IfSG" offered by the city and suggest improvements.

Background information

If a citizen produces, processes, markets, or comes into direct or indirect contact with food (via utensils such as plates or cutlery), first time, they need a certificate from the health department that is no more than three months old. This certificate confirms successful participation in a training session on infection control measures. After the initial mandatory instruction by the authority, employers are entitled to provide the regular instructions themselves.

The goal of the training is to enable participants to recognise their own symptoms of infectious diseases or those of employees early on. It also aims to prevent further spread and contamination of food and to assess when a job may no longer be performed if certain symptoms are present.

You will be able to access and test the online service. You will also be able to survey users of the service about their experiences, having recently completed an online hygiene training.
