The people working in our Administration make sure everything at FUAS runs smoothly.

From enrolling students to organising exams and printing degree certificates to a variety of guidance and consulting – our admin staff ensure that our students can focus on their studies. But of course our administration also supports our teaching staff: They equip lecture halls with beamers, plan who teches in which room, hire more staff when its needed and answer questions on finances.

Finances/Budget

Our Finances Unit sees FUAS in numbers: staff, equipment and laboratory facilities, office supplies and numerous other things generate costs. The university budget is made up of state funding, EU grants and via industry projects.

Communications & University Marketing

At the Communications & University Marketing unit, we take what happens at FUAS and on campus and carry it into the world. We report on student projects and innovative research on our website, in social media, at fairs and via other channels, and present FUAS and our range of degree programmes to prospective students. We are also responsible for internal communication and help to organise events and conferences on campus.

Main Workshop

This is the place where theory is turned into practice – literally. In our Main Workshop apprentices training to be industrial mechanics make the projects and drafts of our students and professors become reality. Among the one of a kind-things that were made here throughout the past decades are a charging station for e-bikes, engines and award-winning small wind turbines.
