What it’s about
Nursing is becoming increasingly complex - both in terms of direct patient care and additional tasks. And that's where you enter the picture! In this degree programme, you will gain additional qualifications in the areas of evidence, ethics, management and technology. You apply the theory you learn directly: in our state-of-the-art skills lab as well as with our cooperation partner where you complete your practical assignments.
Course structure & majors
In the first two semesters of your studies, you will acquire basic knowledge in nursing and medicine and have your first practical assignments already. If you have completed vocational training in the nursing field already, your studies start in the third semester of the programme - from now on, you will focus on topics such as the healthcare system, ethical and legal issues, health promotion, management in healthcare and much more. In the fourth to sixth semester, you will complete several healthcare internships in addition to your modules. In your seventh semester you will focus on your bachelor’s thesis.
If you have already completed vocational training in the nursing field, you can have this training recognised. For more details on this recognition, please refer to §4 of the Study and Examination Regulations.
