Project description

The objectives of the joint project ANGUSII are the development of methods for dimensioning and

the impact analysis of geotechnical storage facilities for hydrogen, synthetic methane, compressed air and heat, as well as the integration of the methods developed here into concepts for planning underground storage facilities.

In its sub-project, Flensburg University of Applied Sciences aims to develop and apply a set of model instruments for the economic and technical simulation and optimisation of energy storage facilities in the surrounding supply system. The aim is to determine technically reliable operating data for the investigated geological storage facilities that is consistent with future developments in the supply system. Furthermore, the technology perspective of individual energy storage concepts can be evaluated on this basis.
