Project description
The project focuses on raising awareness of start-up topics among university staff. At the same time, ECC is preparing to launch an innovative bachelor's degree programme in which students start their own businesses from the very first semester, enabling them to apply the theory they have learned in practice. Through targeted measures, we want to promote interdisciplinary cooperation and build an entrepreneurial mindset in order to identify good ideas and support aspiring entrepreneurs. We have recognised that despite the existing start-up support, much potential remains untapped, so we are striving for a cultural change that will unleash the full potential of the university. This can also lead to new research approaches through inspiration about start-up potential.
The specific steps include various event formats that integrate coaching and mentoring. The entrepreneurial culture change benefits not only the university, but also the region, as students create new jobs and increase industry diversity. Close cooperation with companies on campus promotes long-term innovation and the entrepreneurial spirit of students.
