You want to have Wi-Fi access from anywhere in FUAS? And even if you’re at other universities? No problem with the eduroam network. This is how it works.
Please note: Because of an update of the eduroam certificates on 15 December 2025 action needs to be taken so that your device will continue to be able to access the eduroam Wi-Fi after this date.

Copy the link behind “eduroam WLAN” from the same window. (Please right click to copy, do not open the link by clicking it.) Now open the link by pasting it into your browser. Then you can close the registration window.
- Click the big button to download the eduroam installer.
- Choose "Hochschule Flensburg" as your home organisation.
- A grey field will open below the blue button: “Es muss TTLS und PAP eingestellt werden.” [TTLS and PAP have to be set up.] Click the “weiter” [next] button to the right of this field.
- Now, the download should start automatically. If it does not start, follow the instructions on the page.

- Now use the device settings to go to “profiles” or “device management” (depending on the macOS version).
- Double click the eduroam profile.
- Now click “install”.
- You will be asked whether you really want to install this profile. Please click “continue”.

If there is no installation tool available for your android system, you will have to adjust the settings manually:
- Open the web browser on your android device and enter the following addresses one after another:
https://hs-flensburg.de/studintern/netz/wlan/01_AAA_Certificate_Services.crt
https://hs-flensburg.de/studintern/netz/wlan/02_USERTrust_RSA_Certification_Authority.crt
https://hs-flensburg.de/studintern/netz/wlan/03_GEANT_OV_RSA_CA_4.crt
https://hs-flensburg.de/studintern/netz/wlan/04_HARICA_TLS_ROOT_2021_RSA.crt - Save the certificate in your personal certificate store. If you don’t have a personal certificate store, it will be created automatically and you will be asked to set up a password (at least 8 characters).
- Name your certificate, for example: "01 Root Wi-Fi", “02 Root Wi-Fi”, “03 Root Wi-Fi”, “04 Root Wi-Fi”.
- If you are asked for a reference for the certificate, make sure to enter Wi-Fi.
- Now you will be asked to set up a password or a pattern depending on how you unlock your phone.

- EAP method: TTLS
