When staff at two universities merely 200 meters apart teach, research and work on topics related to film, that calls for cooperation: That's why the Department of Art and Visual Media at Europa-Universität Flensburg (EUF) and the film major of the Media Informatics programme at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences have founded a joint centre!
The centre – which somewhat ironically bears the title "Something-with-media Centre Flensburg" – originates from the idea of colleagues from the EUF and FUAS to establish a stronger focus on film at the interface between film aesthetics and practice and the film industry.
