Free vaccination against COVID-19 for students

Students will have the opportunity to get a free vaccination against COVID-19 on campus this week. Mobile vaccination teams will be administering vaccinations in the audimax (Thomas- Fincke-Straße 18, 24943 Flensburg) on Friday, 9 July, and Saturday, 10 July, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The vaccines used will be those from Moderna and Johnson & Johnson. You do not need to register beforehand.

Please bring your ID card, your student ID card and your Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (you may know this document as “yellow card” or vaccination passport).

Vaccinations against COVID-19 are no longer administered according to priority groups. Every person with their habitual residence in Germany is entitled to a vaccination. Currently, a sufficient amount of vaccines is available, so that no one who gets vaccinated is depriving someone else of a vaccination. If you want to get vaccinated but are unable to get vaccinated by the mobile vaccination team, you can register for a vaccination appointment at www.impfen-sh.de. Currently, there are appointments available in Neumünster in particular. In Flensburg, Kiel and Lübeck the waiting times are a bit longer, unfortunately.

Each vaccination administered is a step further in stopping this pandemic and helps to protect the person vaccinated and others.
