No doctor’s certificate necessary in current exam period

Because of the new coronavirus, the pressure on the health system is currently higher than usual. To lighten this workload, the President’s Office and the Examinations Office have decided that students do not need to present a doctor’s certificate if they cannot attend an exam they have registered for in the current exam period. This exemption from the requirement to provide a doctor’s certificate is temporary and only valid for the ongoing exam period with retroactive effect from 9 March 2020, i.e. it includes exams that took place on this day.

If you are unable to take an exam you have registered for due to illness, your absence will not count as a failed attempt.

This does not apply to exams that have already been taken.

Please contact the Examinations Office if you have any further questions.
