As a student at FUAS, you have your own university e-mail account. Find out how to access this account here.
As a student at FUAS, you have your own university e-mail account (firstname.lastname@stud.hs-flensburg.de). You can use your browser to access your mails via this webmail link.
Please note that for organisational and data protection reasons all e-mail communication with Flensburg University of Applied Sciences and its units and institutions must take place via your university e-mail account (firstname.lastname@stud.hs-flensburg.de) from 15 April 2019 onwards.
Redirecting your university mails to a private account
Please also note that your university e-mails will not be redirected to a private account automatically as part of this change. Existing redirects will be deactivated. You can set up a redirect for your university e-mails manually. Follow these instructions to set up a redirect for your university mails.
Einbinden in E-Mail-Programme wie Outlook
These are the settings you'll need to access your university e-mails via e-mail programmes such as Outlook:
Incoming mail server (IMAP):
mail.stud.hs-flensburg.de
Port: 993
Encryption: SSL
Outgoing mail server (SMTP):
mail.stud.hs-flensburg.de
Port: 587 (or alternatively: 465)
User name: Your usrer name and password
Please check the boxes for the following options: "Authentication required for the outgoing mail server (SMTP), use the same settings as for the incoming mail server, root folder pasth: activate INBOX."
