Tore Hordvik, M.Sc., Business Lead – Floating wind & solar at DNV.
Tore Hordvik holds a Master of Science in Marine Technology from NTNU and has worked in DNV since 2011. He has been involved with the offshore industry throughout his career, mainly focusing on mooring and global analyses of floaters and has worked extensively with floating structures across industries like O&G, offshore fish farming, infrastructure, floating solar and floating wind. He has vast experience in floater design, mooring system and load calculation review.
Kristin Nergaard Berg, M.Sc., Senior Principal Consultant, Offshore Wind Project Engineering at DNV.
Kristin Nergaard Berg holds a Master of Science in Physics and is an experienced project manager, supporting offshore wind clients in Norway and abroad, spanning technical and market studies, advisory and Joint Industry Projects. She has 20 years+ experience, from O&G and renewables industries in DNV and Roxar. Her experience includes product development, technology qualification and verification, including liaison with operators, supply chain and authorities.
Magnus Ebbesen, M.Sc., Floating Wind Segment Lead at DNV.
Magnus Ebbesen holds a Master of Science in Engineering Science and ICT from NTNU. He is currently Segment Leader Floating Wind. Magnus has since 2013 worked primarily with managing and contributing to due diligences and cost-and risk-assessments for offshore wind. In this period, Mr. Ebbesen has performed cost risk assessment for the development of a new offshore wind model for a major turbine supplier, been responsible for implementing risk management processes for a Chinese offshore wind developer and been responsible for developing DNV’s offshore wind risk library.
Tim Wiley, M.Eng., Principal Engineer, Energy Systems at DNV.
Tim Wiley has 20 years’ experience with multidisciplinary project mgmt & civil / structural engineering for mission critical facilities. Experience with both design and verification of offshore concrete structures. Project manager for the DNV scope of work for the Hebron GBS certification scope of work including complete independent analysis / post-processing and construction phase follow up. In recent years, Tim has successfully managed/facilitated several Technology Qualification projects for novel concepts for the offshore wind industry.
