The VR Bank Nord has been awarding final theses of FUAS students since 2017. The selected theses are notable not only for the grade they received but also for the relevance of their topics for our region.
The award
The VR Bank-Hochschulpreis award is given to young researchers and academics who, with their theses, contribute to the further development of our region in the areas of industry and business, technology and society.
The VR Bank Nord eG honours the winners with a certificate and prize money. A jury made up of FUAS professors and members of the VR Bank decides on how many students will be recognised each year.

The application phase for the VR Bank-Hochschulpreis award 2025 is over. The winners were announced as part of the graduation ceremony on 11 July 2025.
