Deutschlandstipendium scholarship - Information for students

You can apply for a Deutschlandstipendium scholarship if you are enrolled as a student at FUAS and your grade average is at least 2.3. You may also apply if you are going to start your studies with us in the next winter semester. It is not only above average grades that are rewarded here but social commitment, involvement in university politics and special achievements or the overcoming of hardships.

Flensburg University of Applied Sciences usually awards Deutschlandstipendium scholarships for a funding period starting at the beginning of the winter semester. The scholarships are paid for by private sponsors and the German government to equal parts. This way we want to support talented and high-achieving students for one year. The scholarship support is 300 euros per month.

Who can apply?

All those who are studying with us - or would like to do so from the winter semester and fulfil the following criteria:

  1. The grade point average is 2.3 or better
  2. There are special achievements, awards, honours or prizes relevant to the subject of study
  3. There is a social, societal or higher education policy commitment 
  4. There are special hurdles in the personal environment with significant effects for the applicant

The criteria asserted for 2) and 3) must not date back more than 2 years from the time of the scholarship application.

What is special is that your personal commitment (or other criteria) improves your grade point average.

You can apply for the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship from 1 May 2025 until 31 May 2025. Send us your application using this form.
