Join us in celebrating the Intercultural & Diversity Day on campus - either as part of the exhibition area or as a visitor. The event takes places on Thursday, 5 November, and is part of the Intercultural Weeks 2026.
Discover the lively mosaic of cultures at the Intercultural and Diversity Day on campus! Join us as we celebrate diversity through captivating exhibitions designed by students of the EMERGE Alliance, Europa-Universität Flensburg, and Flensburg University of Applied Sciences.
Step into our window to the world and immerse yourself in a rich mosaic of traditions, languages, diversity and customs. Don't miss this opportunity, broaden your horizon and enjoy the beauty of diversity and cultural exchange.
Would you like to present your own “Window to the World”?
We warmly invite all students to showcase their culture and identity! Whether you’re an international student, part of a cultural community, or a member of a diverse group—join us, share your experiences and stories, and show how diversity enriches our campus!
Here’s How You Can Participate
Everyone is welcome—there are many ways to get involved:
- Showcase traditional clothing, handicrafts, or cultural artifacts
- Share photos or stories
- Offer samples of traditional foods or drinks
- Perform music, dance, or visual arts or get creative yourself!
Please register by October 15 using this link.

Intercultural Weeks are organized by the Intercultural Week Working Group and the City of Flensburg’s Integration Office.
Note: This is a peaceful, inclusive celebration. The event is not a platform for political statements or discussions about global conflicts. Instead, we invite you to focus on what unites us and helps build a respectful and welcoming community.
