The Learning, Teaching and Language Center is turning 5 – we want to celebrate that and, at the same time, kick off the new semester together with you!
L(et’s) S(tart) Z(e) Semester! We invite you to join us at the B-Mensa and the Hopfengarten to welcome our new students, catch up with old and new friends, and dance the night away! We’ll be spinning tunes right after the AStA Sports Department’s “Run-and-Rave” event, which wraps up the orientation week.
Since the organizing team has been wanting to throw a good ’90s party for a while now, they’re just going to throw their own: We’ll be playing songs from the “long ’90s”—that is, from 1985 to 2005. If that’s your jam, feel free to send us your song requests! You can use this form to request a song from the years mentioned and, if you’d like, send a shout-out to someone – whether it’s your best friend, your favorite professor, or your grandma. She probably won’t be there, but it’s the thought that counts...
We'll provide a selection of drinks and snacks. Other than that, please bring your own drinks—feel free to bring something to eat as well—and be sure to bring your good spirits. We look forward to seeing you!
